1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tbsp cooking oil
Lushious Chili and Onion Relish
5 Lushious red chilies, seeded and cut into 3 pcs
2 red onions, quartered
3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 1/2 tbsp sugar
Pinch of salt and pepper
3 tbsp cooking oil
Slice beef into 1cm thickness. Using the back of the cleaver, chop to flatten the beef slices. Season with salt, pepper and oil. Marinate for 2 hours in the regrigerator. Grill over a griddle pan till cooked.
Heat oil in a pan and sauté garlic, onions and chilies. Fry till they are softened then add in sugar, salt and pepper. Continue to cook over low heat until onions and chilies have shrunk and moisten. Toss with the beef slices and continue to slow cook for 5 minutes. Dish out and serve hot.
